Delete account

Delete your account and data

You can delete your Maseh account and the data linked to it at any time, from inside the app or by request over email. Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone.

Fastest

From inside the app

  1. Open the Maseh app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
  3. Review the list of what will be deleted, then type “delete” in the confirmation box.
  4. Tap “Delete my account permanently”. Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.
If you can’t sign in

By email request

Send your deletion request to privacy@maseh.sa

  1. Send it from the email address registered to your account.
  2. Use the subject “Account deletion request”.
  3. Include your name and the mobile number registered to the account.
  4. We may ask you to prove the account is yours before we act, to protect you from requests made in your name.
  5. We carry out the request within 30 days at most, and email you a confirmation when it’s done.

What is deleted, and what we keep.

When your account is deleted, your data is permanently deleted, except for specific records we are required to keep, and data that belongs to the other party in your transactions.

Permanently deleted

  • Your account and personal dataName, email address, mobile number and profile photo.
  • Your requests, offers, and chatsIncluding the messages you sent and the photos attached to them.
  • Photos and reports uploaded to your requests
  • Ratings, categories, and inspector dataRatings you wrote and ratings about you, your license number and photo, and your service areas.

What we may keep, and why

  • Consent and rights-request recordsIncluding the deletion request itself, as evidence of regulatory compliance.
  • Security logsFor up to 18 months, to detect abuse and breaches.
  • Data that belongs to the other partyFor example, a report you delivered to a client as an inspector stays with that client, no longer linked to your account.
